Dhaka Called Pak Deputy High commissioner
Diplomatic correspondent:Samina Mehetab, Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan in Dhaka, has been called by foreign ministry of Bangladesh Sunday noon in protest against the statement issued by Pakistan after the execution of Jamaat leader Mir Quasem Ali in charge of crime against humanity during 1971 War of Liberation.
n response to the call by the foreign ministry of Bangladesh Pakistani Deputy High Commissioner reached at the ministry.
Bangladesh expressed strong protest before Samina, now sitting in Bangladesh as an acting high commissioner of Pakistan, for interfering internal affairs of Bangladesh.
After capital punishment of Quasem Ali, Pakistan expressed mixed reaction and condemned the penalty and claimed the trial as partial and political.
